Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Medical School

The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is one of the most renowned universities in Greece and enjoys an excellent reputation. How is the medical degree programme in Greece structured?

How long does it take to study medicine in Griechenland? Das Medizinstudium auf Griechisch oder Englisch ähnelt vom Aufbau vielen anderen europäischen Ländern. Es hat eine Gesamtstudiendauer von sechs Jahren.In den ersten beiden Jahren werden die Grundlagenfächer Biologie, Chemie, Physik, Anatomie und Physiologie behandelt. Dieser Zeitraum ist mit der Vorklinik in Deutschland zu vergleichen. Im Anschluss folgt der klinische Studienabschnitt. Aufbauend auf dem Wissen der ersten Semester lernst du nun die Diagnostik und Therapie verschiedener Krankheitsbilder in unterschiedlichen medizinischen Fachgebieten kennen. Parallel dazu hast du zahlreiche Praktika auf verschiedenen Stationen des Krankenhauses, wie in der Inneren Medizin, der Chirurgie oder der Pädiatrie, um praktische Fertigkeiten und Erfahrung zu sammeln.
